I'm Rixva!

I've been an active player of Sylestia since April of 2014. I've always loved pet sites like this, and Sylestia is my favorite by far!
On Sylestia...
I love battling and participating in festivals! I especially like to experiment with party builds and element setups.
I like working on breeding projects, both with themed pets and with non-themed! I have a thread for tracking my progress on these projects.
I like most species of pets, but my favorites are Luffox, Nytekrie, Puffadore, and Lighira. I have a list of my favorite pets in the next post~
I've also won several avatar item design contests. I have a list in the third post if you're curious!
Off Sylestia...
I love reading, playing and writing music, and playing video games. I like some TV and anime series too.
I have a bachelor's degree in Linguistics and I'm currently getting my teaching license in English as a Second Language. I've worked with English learners of all ages, levels, nationalities, and ethnicities. I've studied Spanish, French, Japanese, German, and Norwegian.
Some of my favorite books include The Three Musketeers &spinoffs, The Princess Bride, Stardust, the Wizard Howl books, the Harry Potter series, and the Twelve Kingdoms series.
My favorite video games are Stardew Valley and the Dragon Age series. Also getting into Mass Effect!
I'm a huge fan of the Star Trek franchise - especially the Original Series and the Next Generation!
Musically, I have no specific tastes. I like what I like, which spans a wide variety of genres. Some of my favorite artists include The Killers (& Brandon Flowers solo stuff), Fall Out Boy, Mucc, The New Pornographers, The Avett Brothers, The Goo Goo Dolls, Billy Joel, House of Heroes...etc. I'm also a fan of classical composers. Recently I've been listening to a lot of Mahler.
I have 4 cats and 2 dogs, and I love them all to pieces.

@24harlek - sorry, these aren't items I'm selling, they're just a list of the ones I designed in contests ^^;; I do happen to have a spare Blue Jay version of the item though, if you want it?
