To celebrate the completion of my very first pokemon breeding project, I doodled up a pic of my little Razzmatazz.

(Yes that is the official art with a bow and eyelashes slapped on.)

I hatched her some time around February and today I finally put the finishing touches on her by teaching her dracometeor and mega evolving her for the very first time!

She has 5 perfect iv's, is lv 94, and has a naughty nature (And believe me she lives up to that. She doesn't go a single battle without getting filthy.)
Her moveset was a doozy to get as well (Draco meteor takes some work to get)
Earthquake
Draco Meteor
Fire Blast
Stone Edge

So have any of you ever done this kind of intensive pokemon breeding before? And if so how did it go?

congratulations! I've never tried for stat breeding in Pokmon before, but it sounds like it would be a good idea.

Thanks guys!
Stat breeding is a difficult thing to do. First you have to decide what pokemon to breed and what setup you are going to use on it (aka the moveset, held item, ability, and nature)
Since nature affects stats you not only have to breed for stats, but also for the nature you want (which is a whole nother process)

And then once thats all said and done you can either stop there or keep breeding until you get a shiny like my little Razzmatazz.

Then there is ev training and leveling to do, and then you have to find the held item and TMs you need for your setup. Not to menion any evolution items you may need. AND if you want to mega evolve in sun and moon you need to get 64 battle points and trade them in for a mega stone at the battle tree (which isn't as bad as what it takes to get the garchompite in omega ruby and alpha sapphire which requires you collect like... 10'000 secret base flags...)

Needless to say its a lot of effort. Luckily for me I somehow came across a 6iv Japanese shiny ditto by wonder trade (someone must have hacked to get it) so that made the whole process take a lot less time.

Thanks!
This is my first time doing this too and I have to say the results are very satisfying. I was never able to get far in the battle tree but with only one competitive level pokemon I went from a maximum 4 win streak to a 14 win streak in one day (and that was before her setup was finished, so no Draco meteor and no mega stone)

I cant wait to have a full 6 pokemon competitive team!

Good luck! I'll see you in the finals! All my pokemon are specially bred too!
Just so you know what you're up against... My competitive team won fourth place worldwide.
I'm only going to tell the info of two of them... If you need any advice, just ask!

Wow... um that's impressive to say the least.

I don't expect to do any real tournaments, this is mostly so I can beat all my friends in battle and complete the in-game competitions.

After all I've always had difficulty with things like the battle tree, battle royal, and any other in-game place where your pokemon are set to lv50.
In any case, a good deal of competitive level play requires items and moves that you can only get as rewards for in-game competitive battles. Perhaps once I've mastered that I'll take a crack at competitive PVP.

PS:
I've already bred my "perfect" special defence skarmory (thanks to smogon)
Now I'm stuck deciding whether to stop now or keep going until I get a shiny. (That and my plan is to replace the one attack move in the recommended moveset with sandstorm to act as support for Razzmatazz in doubles, which is kinda risky to say the least.)
