An owl made of glowing blue mists was perched in a tree. She could make no noise. This barn owl was currently eating a mouse, and when she finished, she launched into the sky.

Think of her like the wisps from Brave

Chirp-
Fluttering his wings he hopped about the small cell he had been given. The humans had given this to him since he had been here, for being good. So now he was chasing his feathery tail in a sad attempt to make himself happy. They said he was going to get a friend yet she hadn't shown up yet. He couldn't wait for her to get here! Maybe she would like to play as well!

Rose-
This grass in her cage was fake...it was so sad. The female fox wrapped her tail about herself looming down at her paws. It was so sad. She wanted real grass! She wanted a real sun! This place it was so fake!

The owl clacked her beak and fluffed up her feathers. If she weren't mute, she would have screeched and hissed. Her blue eyes stared at the two men looking at her. "Look, there's the one that escaped." "Shouldn't we just let her go free?" "Nah dude, she's the perfect mutation. We gotta keep her." Silence, for that was her name, had spread her wings just as they grabbed her and stuffed her in the carrier.

Chirp-
As the door opened to his room he fluttered towards it sitting like a puppy would at the foot of its owner. The carrier was placed before him and opened before the door was shut again. Sadly he hopped to the door and clawed at it, desperate for attention.

I heard the sound of feathers, and I cautiously peeked my head out of the carrier, glowing with my ethereal light. I didn't know how to get the attention of the other owl mutant, so I tapped the carrier loudly.

Kissui snarled from her cage suspended from the ceiling.
A glowing green shot was pressed into a shaved area on her shoulder,
her eyes flashed green as she went crazy throwing the scientist of of her and blindly running around the cage,
creating small wind storms as she went.

Chirp-
At the sound he turned to the carrier and hopped over to it. With a careful look he turned to face the owl on the inside of the carrier. "Oh hello there!" he cooed happily fluffing his feathers out as he did. "I haven't seen to around here before! Are you new? It's been so long since I have seen anyone here like myself!" Overly excited the little owl flapped his wings lifting off the ground as he did. "We are going to be the best of friends!!!"
