It was hard to tell if it was morning by the spots he saw before his eyes yet the sound of the birds and the chill in the air told him that the sun was just beginning to rise. Yawning he stood and shook the moss from his pelt before making his way out of his den, which was the highest den in the den site. His den was up a bit in the side of a the mountain that boardered the east side of the clearing, a bit away from the others that boarder the tree line. All the other seems were under the tree roots or in fallen trees, yet depending on the size of the tree they could be nice. Denver carefully made his way down the rock like ramp towards the kill pile which was in the middle of the clearing. Today was a new day, a day to keep watch for new members, humans, or even opposing packs.

Honor felt himself frown in his sleep as he felt a prodding in his side. "Wha..?" He muttered, rolling over, The voice that answered him could be identified as his sister, Spirit. He stirred, blinking wildly.

"Wake up!" The delta female nudged his side once again. "You're the beta, for goodness sakes!" He could see her pacing back and forth now. "Busy day today, busy day..."

Rolling his eyes, he got up and looked around for his mate.

Lilly~

Happily she rushed about the meadow that was to the west boarder of the pack's territory. Right now she was in the hunt...a hunt for a wounded rabbit she had found along the two leg's black trail. Now she had it tracked to a spot near the stream and was going in for the kill. Wagging her tail a bit she rushed forward scaring the animal into the water where she followed it and grabbed it. Squealing she drug the rabbit from the water where she killed it. "Perfect!" Sure it was dangerous for a lone female to be out, though she didn't really care for once she just wanted to be herself.

Denver-

He walked to the kill pile to find it empty yet again. With a sigh he set down running a paw along the ground. It was dry, an oncoming sign of summer. The heat was coming again as was the lack of water. Last year was hard, this year though felt like it would be even worse. "Honor? Spirit? Could you come here for a second?" He asked having heard the two. Where was Midnight? And Lilly?

"Sure, Denver!" The female wolf rushed over, eager to please as her brother followed at more leisurely pace.

"What is it, Denver?" He sat down beside the Alpha, still looking for Lilly, who was nowhere in sight. "And where is Lilly?"

I stretched and yawned. "I'm up, I'm up..."

Denver-

"I was hoping you had seen her Hornor." The male said lowering his head some. "Honor can you go look for her and make sure she is alright, I would hate for something to happen to her." He said wagging his tail lightly. "And Spirit could you take Midnight to go hunting?"

Lilly~

Happily she trotted back to the den site when she caught the smell of something...new. Strange it didn't smell human, yet not quite animal either. Taking a deep breath she came to the conclusion that it was just a puffadore and continued on her way. "Morning!" She barked returning to the pack. "I have breakfast!"

"Lilly!" Honor rushed to her and licked her head. "Where have you been? Outside, by yourself?" He walked around her in a circle, sniffing to make sure she had no injuries.

"Honor I'm fine! Look I even brought a rabbit!" She said clearly proud of herself.
