This is a pet contest!

Post here a pet that you own that you think is beautiful. We will then get votes from non-participants to see which pet is considered the most beautiful! To enter, you must pay 500g. The winner gets the combined amount of gold.

HOW IT WORKS

For Participants:
1. Ping me (it's the little blue "@" in the corner, or type my name where it says "ping users")
2. Post a picture of a pet (any species, gender, etcetera)
3. Post a link to the pet (THIS IS REQUIRED. IF YOU DO NOT YOUR SUBMISSION WILL NOT QUALIFY. I have to be sure that the pet is yours.)
4. *optional* point out why you think the pet is beautiful, or include additional information.
5. I will CoD you 500g. (It will come up in player trades. Click "accept".)
6. After ten (10) days, submissions will be closed and voting will begin. Participants may not vote for their own pet.
7. IT IS RECOMMENDED that you submit a title. A default title will be given anyways if you don't provide one. If you don't like the title given you may ping me and tell me what you would like for the title. The title may be edited up until voting time.
8. Enjoy yourself!

For Non-Participants:
1. Check the FIRST post to see if it is voting time.
2. If it is voting time, look at the THIRD post. It has all the entries. It is not necessary for you to scroll through all the pages. All entries are on the THIRD post.
3. Ping me with your vote (it's the little blue "@" in the corner, or type my name where it says "ping users")
4. In the vote, include the TITLE of the pet and the OWNER.
5. If you want to be notified about who the winner is, please ping or PM me and I will ping you when the winner is announced. DO NOT INCLUDE THIS IN YOUR VOTING CARD.
6. Enjoy yourself!

For Participants:
1. If you do not ping me, your post will be disqualified. If I notice a post that I was not pinged about, I will notify you and you can re-submit it. So just please, remember, it's easy!
2. The pet must be owned by you If you do not own the pet, you will be disqualified from that round!
3. Talk positively, no shunning people's pets please, we're all friends here.
4. Non-Participants may vote as well as participants. However, participants may not vote for their own pet. Voting is not required.
5. You may only vote during the voting time. If you want to be notified when this time comes, please ping or PM me!


For Non-Participants:
1. PING ME. If you do not ping me, your vote will not count.
2. Only vote for ONE PET. I know it is hard to decide, but please, no "i don't know, I like 2 & 3" votes. Thank you.
3. Make sure you include the TITLE and the OWNER in your vote.
4. Please try to keep your vote just that--a vote. Any additional comments may be made on the side. Thank you.
5. Please follow the "How It Works". Do not vote by stating the number of the pet. State the TITLE and the OWNER. Thank you!!

What about voting for pets that aren't your own?



Not even joking. She's beautiful and magnificent.

Technically that would be alright, but who wants to give themselves less of a chance of winning? And then, I'd have to check to make sure that the pet they were voting for wasn't the one they had posted, so that is just extra work. It just seems easier this way.

I'd love to vote, though. *puts hands in air* i promise I won't vote for my dear Plague. Don't worry. i don't quite think you can forget her, and I only own puffadores practically.

Hmm, alright. I will take away the no-voting rule and replace it with a "no-voting for your own pet".
