Before you jump in, just give a little information about your character(s):
Name:
Gender:
Age:
Description:
Personality:

Name: Kay Colburn
Gender: Female
Age: 17
Description: Kay is a small 5'2 girl who weighs roughly 120lbs. She is lean in body type, but despite her delicate looks she is somewhat powerful. Her skin is a pale cream color and her hair is a deep red color. Her hair is cut short and the right side of her head is shaved. Kay's eyes are a grey blue color. She wears glasses along with a very light long sleeve pale pink shirt with a grey vest over it. The vest has a soft grey fur collar and a fur trim along the bottom. She is wearing black leggings with grey soft boots that have a fur trim along the top.
Personality: Kay is somewhat shy and reserved, mainly keeping to herself. She is a kind and gentle soul and she usually tries to look on the brighter side of things. Kay acts stronger than she really is and pretends nothing bothers her when deep down it does. She doesn't like to get close to people or create deep bonds because she doesn't like being vulnerable. Kay can be hot tempered sometimes and cynical.

Kay Colburn

It has been a few days since the outbreak of the deadly virus that took over people's minds broke out. Kay had been riding the train home from her aunt's house when it struck. She was following along the news with her phone, apparently the disease shuts down the brain of the host (rendering them brain dead) then the virus takes over their body and reanimating them. The virus spreads through the blood and saliva and other body fluids of the host. The host becomes incredibly violent and attacks any non infected person around them. The train was stuck on the tracks, surrounded by those horrible zombies, or some people simply called them "hosts."

The dining car of the train had been raided on the first day of the outbreak. Kay was lucky enough to get a few scraps and non perishable food items. She also already had a few items in her bag, consisting of a bag of goldfish that she took from her aunt's house, her sketchbook, a small first aid kit, her journal, a phone charger (which was useless now) and a few other odds and ends. She spent most of her time in one car, knowing how dangerous it was to travel from car to car. Most people formed groups and blocked off car entrances so nobody could get in them. Kay didn't blame them though, a few passengers did end up being hosts and turning. They were killed and thrown out of the train shortly after they turned. Now there was only a handful of people left on the train.

Kay was sitting in one of the booths, her head away from the train window, the curtain closed. Curiously, she peered out of curtain making sure to keep her head low so she didn't start a frenzy amongst the hosts outside. They wandered aimlessly. If Kay didn't know any better she would have thought they were just normal people. But she learned to see that dead look in their eyes. The way they stared at nothing, their jaws slack. They walked like they were drunk, or never walked before. They bumped into each other, like they were blind or something. Stumbling and groaning, hissing, clacking their teeth, some growled and others screeched. She let the curtain fall again and she laid on the booth and tried to get comfortable. It was hard to sleep these days. Between her racing thoughts and the noise outside, she barely got the chance to close her eyes. She grabbed her bag from the floor, a simple black backpack, and hugged it against her chest while she stared at the ceiling of what she now called home.

Name: Chase Flynn
Gender: Male
Age: 18, almost 19
Description: He's quite tall, almost 6'3''. His hair is a tousled mess of spiky dark hair that he runs his hand through a lot. Chase's eyes are hazel, more green than brown though. His skin is a tan shade, since he spends most of his time outside. His usual outfit is just the casual t-shirt and jeans, although he'll occasionally wear other things.
Personality: Chase is a leader- he'll try to take charge of what others don't or when he thinks others are doing wrong. This gets him into arguments most of the time. He's very protective of others, though, if they seem to take his side or help him with anything.

Maibritt Samossen
Female
8
She is very small, even for her age, allowing her to fit even in the compartments. Her hair is short, with two bobby pins sticking it together. She is very pale, and wears a large fleece shirt that is a couple sizes too large.
She is very sensitive and childish, and isn't the most trusting. She will easily cry and sticks to about one or two people.
(She has a few 'stuffed animals', which are really more like deflated fabric carcasses, due to that they aren't in legendary condition)

Chase looked around the train car, seeing some people hiding behind booths and others crouched in groups, mostly families or friends. He glanced at the back corner, where a few mattresses sat, having been pulled off the steel frames that held them together in the rooms with the beds.

Crouching, he watched the other people warily.

Name: Aislinn McLoughlin

Gender: Female

Age: 14

Description: Aislinn has icy blue eyes, very pale skin, and bright red, curly hair. She is 5'7", 134 lbs (I prefer kg lol), and wears black glasses. She usually wears a black T-shirt for P!atD, jeans, and black boots. She was going on a camping trip, so she has a heavy backpack with a canteen, snacks, and her favorite hunting knife, which is serrated on one side. She has a small drawstring bag of first aid supplies she has tied to her belt, and she has claw marks on her left shoulder, totally ripping off the sleeve, from a host attack.

Personality: Very assertive and tomboyish, can be immature at some times, and tends to be an independent loner. She prefers the first word, though. She is currently in a state of depression, as her older brother was infected. If family is mentioned, she will just stare at you, and then ignore it. She is very awkward around small children, as she has no idea how to take care of them. She suffers from psychopathy, but still tries to go against the disorder by trying to have empathy, and trying to not lie or be egotistical. A work in progress.

Kay Colburn

After staring at the ceiling and trying to fall in to a fitful rest (even though it was the middle of the day) Kay sat back up and looked around. There were people scattered here and there around the car. This was one of the only cars that wasn't blocked off by groups or gangs. She sighed. In the corner she spotted a young child clutching what looked to be a very well loved stuffed rabbit. Kay, having a soft spot for children (and stuffed animals) decided that the child must have lost their parents. Perhaps their parents had turned while they were riding the train together. Kay reached into her bag and pulled out a small handful of goldfish. She really didn't want to waste this, but the child looked like they could use some cheering up and some food. Besides, what child didn't like goldfish?

Kay got up and slung her bag over her shoulder, she still didn't trust leaving her bag alone. She walked over the child and crouched down in front of them. She held out her hand and showed the child the handful of goldfish she had taken out. It was like Kay was trying to feed a startled animal. Although Kay liked children, she really didn't know how to interact with them.

"Hey there," she said gently, "Are you hungry? Where are your parents?"

"Out.." She said quietly and shyly, scooting farther into the corner
