I'm curious as to whether or not the forums allow roleplay. If so, does it have to be Sylestia roleplay? Or can it be on other topics?

The Roleplay forums do allow roleplaying, but signups for roleplays are in the "Find Roleplayers" forum.
If you're looking for "Find-The-Whatevers" games (also kind of roleplays), those exist in the Games, Contests, and Giveaways forum.
