I'm not sure if this is the one you saw, but I find Xavion's guide to be the best. It says it is for 6vis breeding, but it goes over everything from basic breeding to breeding a purebred themed 6 visible pet. It can take a while to go through, but it is worth it. I know that's where I started when I began doing breeding projects ^.^
