What is AP and how do I get more of it???? Also how do I get more scales? Sorry if this is a stupid question or it was already answered....

Perfectly reasonable question
AP is Advancement Points, basically you just get them for progressing with the plot and doing stuff on the site, like battling.
They can be used to buy base items in the wardrobe, more save slots in the Generator, and a few other things, I think, that I cannot remember off the top of my head.
Scales are earned by nurturing egglings and hatchlings, and are used as the currency of the Scale Shop.
