Agila (In english translation, agila means "eagle") is the daughter of King Habagat, the successor of the throne of Avilon, the sacred kingdom of the Avions. She is one o the 3 heirs to the throne of Avilon.

There is a prophecy that the second of the two saviors of both humans and Avions will be born upon the union of an Avion and a human which is forbidden for the Avions. The eldest prince of Avilon, Prince Habagat, fell in love with a a human named Amianan. Knowing their love is forbidden, they kept their love in secrecy. Agila became the fruit of this forbidden love between the two species. When Habagat finally confessed to his king father that Amianan is carrying their child, they then knew that the unborn child is one of the two saviors that is said in the prophecy. The one that can kill the king of the Ravens.

The news reached the Ravens and their king ordered its generals and Ravens to conquer Avilon and slay the human that is carrying the second savior. The Ravens succeeded in invading Avilon, slaying King Aurelio in the process. They abducted Amianan into the kingdom of the Ravens, Falconia. Before they could kill Amianan, she gave birth to an egg in Falconia. Habagat and the other Avions weren't able to save Amianan from her fate. She was killed by the Ravens. However, they were able to steal the egg out of Falconia. The Ravens were persistent and followed him. He knew they won't stop following him, so he went to the plains. He landed in front of a human's nipa hut near Amiana's nipa hut. It was Lourde's house. She is the bestfriend of Amianan and the only one who knew about their forbidden love. He didn't have time to explain for the Ravens could be there any second. Without a word he gave the giant-sized egg to Lourdes and flew away to deceive the Ravens.

Judging the size of the egg, Lourdes knew it was an Avion's egg but didn't knew it was Amianan's. She placed her in a compacted dried hays. Days passed and it hatched. There was a human baby inside. She wondered, she's certain that it's an Avion's egg... but why didn't the baby have wings? She called her Agila which means eagle since the baby is from the breed of half bird-half human. She raised Agila alone and far from the village. Far from people who might discover that she is an Avion.

The other kids would tease her for being different. She runs faster than the average kids. She has an enhanced eyesight and hearing. Her father sent the first savior, Lawin to watch over her while she's in the plains. Lawin is just a few older than Agila but with enhanced senses, agility and strength, he is capable to save Agila just in case something happens or if the Ravens found out who she really is.

When she turned into a lady, the only child of the richest man in their land, Gabriel, fell in love with her. She's slowly falling for the courteous lad too. Lawin who have fallen for Agila felt jealous, watching them from afar, behind bushes and trees. She discovered that she can call a flock of birds and attack whoever is hurting her. She also discovered she can talk to forest owls. The townspeople thought she's a lunatic. Some thought she was too bored, living away from the village, away from civilization and near the forest that she began talking to the forest owls.

At midnight, exactly on her eighteenth birthday, her back began to hurt. She screamed and excruciate in pain. Lourdes, being the towns faith healer felt helpless because none of her herbal medicines can cure the bump that is growing on her back. Her back's skin began to split and bleed. Feathers are growing out until a pair of whole white wings are out. They're so white. There are light yellow color on the middle of every large feathers on the wings. Lourdes then couldn't hide the truth from her anymore for she knew now that she's not really a human. This is when her journey as an Avion begins. There are a lot of things she will discover soon. She and Gabriel will discover Gabriel's true identity. She will finally meet Lawin and some of his Avion friends. She will know about her mother's death and the terrorizing truth, following her death. She will learn about her father, about Avions, about the kingdom of Avilon and the destiny that she must fulfill.
