Farm Decorated Eggs by participating in the Festival and then sell them on the Trade Broker.

Outside of festivals, the easiest way to earn gold is to do high level missions regularly. Also, sell what items you get from exploration that you don't need.
You can also nurture pets, and use the scales to buy stuff like dyes and sell thenthem.
