Before humans appeared on sylestia, before sylesti explored and left their own lands, the Griffi were split into 6 clans. Galaxy clan, Ocean clan, Lightning clan, Flame clan, Mountain clan, and Deep clan. Their heaven and hell were known as Snow Den and Pit Fall. Pit Fall was a giant and almost endless pit that un-pure souls fell into. If they caught on to the wall, they would climb into a tunnel system leading them to a huge room for all the un-pure souls to gather. Snow Den is a large icy cavern, which shines with a beautiful radiance when the sun bounces off the icicles in it. The pure souls find it and rest in it, finding old friends, family, and mates. If a pure soul is alone, they are most likely to be taken in by others there.

~:Clan Descriptions:~

Galaxy Clan: Galaxy Clan is best known by their galaxy-like fur, having it spotted with stars or similar like designs.

Ocean Clan: Ocean Clan is recognized for their ability to swim easily, and for the fact that they eat sea food a lot

Lightning Clan: Lightning Clan is the only clan that freely flies into thunder storms, being able to feel where lightning will strike next.

Flame Clan: Flame Clan has the highest tolerance for heat and cool down a lot faster and easier than the other clans.

Mountain Clan: Mountain Clan is known for their affinity to jewels and gems, which they mine from their home on a daily basis and then trade to other clans for their goods.

Deep Clan: Deep Clan is rarely seen aside from on their trading expeditions. They live very deep in the forest, and are rumored to be able to communicate with animals and grow plants faster.

Loners: A scourge to all morals, they are rarely taken in and mostly killed or taken prisoner on sight. They do not seem to care about Clan beliefs and borders.

All Clans have Leaders, they are specially chosen by the clan members on a special day called "The Blessing"

Eagle-Hoof alighted gently onto the bank, her feathered wings ruffling as she did. She looked at the river, it's never ending flow calming. She chose her favorite rocky spot to rest and lay down, listening to the gentle hum of rushing water and letting it lull her into sleep.

Eagle-Hoof jerked awake and frantically looked around. She was panting, and sighed out slowly. "Nightmares . . ." She muttered as she lay down again, but this time just stared out at the river.

Shadora streached the early morning sun waking her from her deep sleep she shook her fur causing it to glisten like dew in the morning time she stretched her great black wings and took off she hated day hated the sun but she was hungry and had to eat she took to the sky from here she could see for miles she noticed another griffin basking on a rock a clan griffin she guessed

* Snowdrop flys around the cold aired mountion tops. She loved the snow and she flew down to the ground to play in the snow. *

Ruffling her wings again, Eagle-Hoof heaved herself up. She stared deep into the water.

* As Snowdrop was playing in the snow she saw a hare. She stared at it until it went into its burrow*

Her body tensed, and she looked like a puma coiled to strike. In a split second, she pounced and resurfaced from the water with a lost baby sylvorpa in her jaws. She held it gently and trotted upstream, looking for its parents.
