You lunge, narrowly missing its jugular. You hold on, before being twisted off. The other wolf is temporarily distracted, so you take the chance to run. You run quickly, and the wolf does not chase you. You stop and pant, reviewing your wounds. You have a bad bite in your leg, scratches on your side, and a bite near your neck, but otherwise okay.
I lick the wounds. I knew I was hungry and needed food soon. I might be able to find some berries or some carcass.
