I have several different projects in mind, from 4-vis to 6-vis, and was looking to begin. However, I lack money currently, but I do have several different regular essences. I was looking for tips on how to begin, especially as the design I am looking to breed for has 4-vis, and the regular essences only allow for 2 trait points.

When beginning to do breeding projects this is where I started. While the thread is geared toward 6-vis projects, all of the information is obviously applicable to any project with fewer visibles as well. I would say give that thread a read through, then see which questions you still need answered.
