You step into an open space in the middle of the forest. It's a lovely meadow, with a sweet scent lingering in the air. Little Zolnixi pups play tag in the meadow, being supervised by some adolescents that have a stern look upon their face. One of them runs up to you and barks. Its owner runs over and apologizes.

But the prized centerpiece of the meadow was a huge, marble statue in the shape of a Nixie with a fountain!
Legend has it that if you wished at the Fountain of Nixie, you would be granted a pet-- specifically a Zolnixi.

"Want to have a go?" the owner says, shifting her weight as she carries a basket of pups from her hatchery.
