Intro:
The sylesti walked endless days and nights. Stopping only to eat, drink, and rest. They were on one of the most important quests that would decide the fate of all the sylesti species and their futures. This sylesti and their friend were embarking on a long journey that would test their strength, courage, friendships, and faith. See who survives, who doesn't, and what the danger will do to the sylesti race.

Toruk sighed slightly as he hauled water out of a well. He lived in the poorer side of town, even though many thought him a hero because of his new destiny. He held the pole, that had two full buckets dangling from either side, tightly between his jaws and was turning the corner as someone ran into him. He barely stumbled as Hydra ran into him full speed. He just shook his head and walked on, ignoring Hydra's calls. He finally got to his small hut and set the water down. A nap would be good... he thought wistfully as he settled down in a small nest. His eyes shut, hiding the dazzling turquoise pupils that he had, and he began to fall into a world of dreams.

Okay, so a note is that we are not on the trip yet. We are in our village but don't know each other yet. We will meet at the king's announcement and then we will head out. We are trying to enjoy normal life as of now.

As Toruk woke, he heard a rustling outside his door. Ugh, Hydra he thought. Not being one to talk much all he liked to do is think, act, and impress. He shoved the large boulder out of the way of his door and Hydra, he saw, was standing there with a bucket in her mouth. She giggled as she put the bucket down and bounded off. Hmmm? What is in there?
