So, another design contest. There are 4 contests. Each one can have three entries. Will end at June 10th.

Contest 1: Avatar and Sylesti pair
-Can be any sylesti
-Please include male and female
-Example:



Contest 2: Sylesti Family
-Can be any sylesti
-Has to have at least four members: father, mother, girl and boy
-Colors can be close enough so that I can see the family resemblance
-You can ask for an exception if you want to do the males blue and the females red or whatever
-Example:


Contest 3: You and your sylesti
-Draw a picture of you and one of your sylestis
-Example:


Contest 4: Make a story
-Make me a story about a sylesti or two

1st Place: 4 pets from my Hatchery or second stable and 10,000g
2nd Place: 3 pets from my Hatchery or second stable and 5,000g
3rd Place: 2 pets from my Hatchery or second stable and 1,000g
All Participants: 1 pet from my Hatchery or second stable and 500g

Can I ask you for some precisions please? =)
Are we allowed to participate at one or two contest only, or do we have to participate in all the 4 contests? (If we have to participate in the 4 contests, one week seems not a lot of time to it especially since the Spring festival will begin during the week)
Or does three entries means that we are allowed to enter three of the contest?
Or does it means that we are allowed three entries per contest?

(Sorry if the answers to my questions seem obvious, I just want to be sure before I decide if I want to participate in one or all the contests =) )

You don't really have to change the date, it was only too short if we had to participate to all the contests. Though it's true that I think for the drawing contest you may have more participations if the due date was in two weeks instead of one... But I think people will mainly participate this week anyway since the festival will begin soon and they will be busy with that =)

no not really. you can even write about a sylesti interacting with real life animals!

The Angels of the Sea

Here is my family.
Echo is the dad, the mom is Stardust, the boy is Comet and the girl is Nova.








Still not done yet with the story.

Nova yiped and jumped off her brother. "I told you you'd let me go!" He barked happily. "That's no fair. Biting was never allowed!" She frowned back at him. "It's supposed to be wrestling." She had Comet pinned down, and then he had nipped her paw. "Look, dad's back!" Comet raced away from the den, circling Echo's legs. Echo set down his prey and stopped Comet with his paw. "What have I told you about leaving the den?" He said a bit sternly. Comet looked down. "That it's dangerous, and predators might get us, but you were right here!" Echo nodded. "Yes, but I don't want you forming any habits. Now, back to the den." He nudged his pup forward and picked up the rabbit. "It's no fair. The eggs are almost hatched and we still are stuck in this cave!" Comet complained. Nova sighed. Her brother was right. It was so boring here. She ran into the den and lay beside the three glistening eggs. Stardust was outside getting a drink, and she pressed her paw against the cool shell. Something pushed on the wall, before settling down again. Hello little brother or sister. She smiled. Turning around, she padded out of the den. "Comet? Dad? Mom, where are you all?" She snuck up behind a rock and peeked over it, and then gasped. There was a big tall thing, and it had put Stardust and Echo in a net. They were hoisted into a large odd colored rock, and then the rock began to move. She burst out and raced towards it. "Mom, Dad, stop! Don't leave me!" She shrieked, her paws moving faster than ever before. "Find your brother! Take care of the eggs!" Stardust barked, as they disappeared in a cloud of dust. "Stay safe, and remember all we taught you!" Her voice faded away, and Nova was left all alone. She lifted her muzzle and let out a long mournful howl. Don't leave me...

Comet watched from the tall grass. He had managed to escape just before they grabbed him, and now he was hiding. Suddenly Nova burst forward. "Mom, Dad, stop! Don't leave me!" Tears ran down Comet's cheeks at the pained looks on his family's faces. "Find your brother! Take care of the eggs! Stay safe, and remember all we taught you!" Her voice faded as the Quitari pulled the rock out of sight, and he put his head under his paws. Nova let out a long sad howl, and Comet joined in. We will find you. He rushed to his sister, tail drooping and muzzle down. Nova looked up, ears laid back in sorrow. "The eggs." She choked out. "We should check on them." Comet nodded, and with one last glance, the two pups trudged back to the den, crushed. They rounded the corner and peeked inside. The eggs were shivering, so Nova curled up beside them, wrapping her tail around them. "Go get Dad's rabbit." She said to Comet, and he nodded before retrieving it. They cuddled up with their unborn siblings, devouring the tender meal and thinking their own sad thoughts.

In the morning the two puppies failed twice at hunting, caught a small mouse which they shared, and pulled up some grass to attempt to make a egg carrier. However the green strips kept falling apart, so it took the rest of the morning to fix it up right. Luckily some of the netting was left behind, and they were able to line it with grass and strap it to Nova, before carefully placing the eggs inside. The journey across the seemingly endless field took less time and effort than expected. It was when they approached the village that the real problem began. "What do we do with the eggs?" Nova hissed quietly as someone left the village. "We can't dig with them, and no way are we getting inside unnoticed from the front way." Comet looked around. "We might be able to." He pointed with his nose to a wagon leaving the village. "If we can catch one on the way in, we could sneak under it and get inside!"
