Hey there! I'm pretty new and despite no-lifeing this game for a few days i still have a few questions.

Sorry if anything of these are dumb questions.

What are tagged pets? I see that term being tossed around a lot and i have no clue what it means.

How do you/ what is regenerating a pet? It sounds fairly obvious but once again i'm at a loss.

Lastly, is there a way to just search for pets for sale? Or are the forums really the only route of finding them?

Tagged Pets:
These are first generation Themed sylesti (Tagged as opposed to Purebred)
Some examples of Tagged pets: 1 2
Their info looks like this:
Species: x
Breed: Sylesti
Gender: x
Children: x
This is a Tamed Sylesti/ This is an Exclusive Sylesti
[Theme Name] [Species]

With the purple text being what is known as a 'tag' (it should be noted that there are also 'untagged/pretagged themed pets', which are Themed sylesti obtained before the tag system was introduced.)

Linking to this, the way to find pets that are for sale is via the Advanced Search. If you switch over to the Pet Search, you can select what you want to look for and set "For Sale?" to "Yes" and designate a price range.
(this is also a way for you to see all the tagged themes of species: select a species and you can select any tagged theme from that species in the "Theme:" dropdown. (Untagged themes cannot be searched, however, due to their lack of tag)


Regeneration is something that can potentially happen when a species is revamped.
Sometimes when a species is revamped certain traits are moved, or split apart into two separate slots, and so would clash with the other traits a pet has.
In this case, all the pet's Trait Points are reset, and the player can reassign them amongst all the traits that were available before the revamp. In the cases of non-tagged pets, the colours may also be available for alteration.
