I may as well start with my favorite and least favorite characters.
May contain spoilers of red/blue/green/gold/silver
Favorite: Either Green (Female protag) or Silver
I love Green because I started reading these books when I was around 8, they had the first 7 or 8 volumes at the library near my house. Green has been my Role model, as she is
a) Fabulous, beautiful, pretty, and she knows it
b) She's a master thief and a really sneaky con artist
c) Very charming and manipulative
And I love Silver because he's adorable and awesome at the same time


My least favorite would have to be Ruby, for multiple reasons
a) He only cares about beauty
b) Even though he hasn't battled in years, he is somehow the most powerful trainer in Hoenn
c) He is the definition of Gary Sue, being completely perfect.
d) He gets 2 people killed (even though they were brought back, they were still dead)
e) I found his character poorly written, somehow ending up with Celebi with no explanation
f) He is incredibly selfish and acts like nothing is his fault:
Sapphire: The Hoenn region is in danger, I know you're secretly an amazing trainer and I want you to help us save the region
Ruby: I don't care about you or this region, as soon as I beat these contests, I'm going back to Johto
Sapphire: Your such a horrible selfish person, I hate you
Ruby: Omg what did I do wrong why does she hate me?
a summary of Ruby's character right there
g) He constantly verbally abused his Feebas, even though it did nothing but help and care for him.
h) After training for weeks, he locked sapphire in a car, pretty much taking away her character's whole worth and taking all the glory for himself
i) he's way too overpowered, there is no way a kid and some pokemon could take down a salamance using not very effective moves.


So yeah, that's my discussion starter

Courtney's pretty evil too. She makes berry concoctions that can melt peoples face off, and then she dies, but comes back to life. (Old Ruby and Sapphire, not the new one)
Shelly was also pretty evil. She made her Lombre kill anyone who witnessed her crimes.

I agree, I couldn't find a picture of the scene, but the part where Green's (F protag) arm got ripped off when fighting loreli mentally traumatized me as a child for about 5 minutes until it was revealed it was a trick and her arm was her ditto

Anywho, my top ten characters in a list:

For Green Oak, he's my role model. Cool, calm, collected, smart, and skilled. I love his attitude and backstory. As for Red, he's the first protagonist, can't really avoid that love. _{Is a faithful Nameless/Originalshipping shipper} Lance and his dragons and his powers... Do I need to say more? Silver is kinda like Green above. Blue's just slick and cool, and is the only person that can annoy Green XD. I know you don't like Ruby, but I personally adore him. He may be vain, but I ship him and Sapphire. I love how unique Ruby's personality traits, although I have no idea how he ended up with Celebi. Or how half of the things happened. But I just love him for his personality. Okay, and maybe his power. Sapphire's just cool. Black and White are kind and awesome and have been through so much! And then finally, X. He's awesome and powerful and basically everyone else on the list.

I'm just so excited for the next update of sun&moon, but mostly b2w2 because I absolutely adore whi-two, she's so adorable and innocent and pure and I just love her so much, and Mega Quilfish because he pretty much runs on anger and I relate to him, but I also feel bad for him because he just wants to fix his mistakes from when he was younger and he's bullied by a lot of the girls in his school but doesn't let it get to him. On he other hand, I'm not too fond of Lack-two mostly for the same reasons as Ruby, though I feel his character is explained much more with the Pokmon on his team, but his backstory is much more blurry than Ruby's, but it isn't a completed series yet so I'm sure we'll learn more about the characters eventually.

I actually haven't read the Black and White manga yet. I monstly know the plot from my friends rambling on and on about it. I'm not fond of Lack-two either. I dunno, I just feel like Nintendo is running our of ideas. I hope we learn more about all the characters.

I can't believe that Red, Green, and Blue are all over twenty years old! Nintedo's gonna have to make some canon ships at some point. I'm just desperately hoping that my favorite trio shows up again. Also, what about Lance? We haven't seen him since HGSS, and even if he is older than the dexholders, I feel like him coming back could mean so many more things are happening.

All in all, I'm exited to see more of the characters, whether old or new.

Well, Ruby x Sapphire is semi canon, so that's something I guess, and I believe White has a crush on Black. Lack-two's love for Whi-two is completely fake, though she might feel something for him. I'm also really happy about the Sun&Moon manga, because Alola is one of my favorite regions, and because I loved the characters from that region

I love Black! When he puts munna on his head, I'm laughing so hard... But it's a genius idea really.

I loved the flashback of when the first time Musha ate Black's dream, when Cheren, Bianca, and Black were all children, because poor Bianca is being attacked by a rufflet, Black is being 'eaten' by a munna, and Cheren is freaking out because he has no idea what's going on or how to help.
