I need gold right now so I would like to offer up any pets you'd like. The person with the highest offer gets it.

Forgive me if you already know thais fact:

An "Easy" way to earn gold is to send your pets on missions. But the missions are tied to the level of the pet. Esslor's Cove has the missions for level one and so on. They can be found in the "barracks" section of the town square.

I have several of my pets on missions - some take 6 - 12 hours so I set them up before I go to bed. Some only take an hour - send a pet on a mission - go get something to eat and the pet will likely be done and you will be a "bag" filled with gold and/or other items. The amounts vary with the difficulty of the mission. I forgot to mention, you get the bag if the pet does well on the mission. If the pet fails, I keep them doing it - it builds up experience and levels for the pet.
