OK so I was fighting thunder and bolt





with emerald moon



and sun dasher



and somehow emerald moon lost 25% of her health each turn and sun dasher lost 50% of his health after emerald moon died.. WHAT??? emerald moon is level 25 how did she die so easily against level 20 pets...

You may nead to use your proefiency point and get some better gear, uncommun item are not realy good. When you select your element pay attention as how you want to manage your pet (atacking, defencive ...) and use their stat as well as the element description. ^-^

1. You may want to check this thread- part-way through the specific post we linked to Amarok discusses Thunder and Bolt's abilities (in an earlier post there's also a bit on proficiency allocation)

2. Setting your proficiency point (you get the second one at level 30)
Of Emerald Moon and Sun Dasher, only Moon has had her elemental tree selected (Earth, a defensive tanking/survival tree)
You will want to go here and allocate the proficiency point (the suggested allocations are HP/Agi, with maybe str later)
Also here to select Sun's tree and point (given that you've put Moon as Earth,you might want to give him an Offensive element.)
(it should be noted that this will make a huge difference- for Emerald Moon's current level the Point will either get her 1420 extra HP or +71 in her attack stat, dex, or agi. Sun Dasher would get either an additional 1160 HP or +58 in selected stat)

3. Equipment upgrade (your pets can wear up to level 25 for Moon and 15 for Sun)
The higher the level (although obviously a pet can only wear up to its closest level and not higher) and the higher the rarity of equipment, the better.
Your two are currently almost entirely Uncommon (green) equipment (the lowest rank), and it's all lower level than what they could be wearing (currently the highest level you have is a lv. 15 piece on Moon).

Equipment focus (you want to align the equipment with the pet's allocated element and stats)
Being Earth element, you want to give Moon equipment mostly for Agi boost, secondarily for Strength
Sun's equips... quite frankly just desperately need an upgrade.

You have a few awake non-party pets you can send on missions in Esior's Haven. Chortle can go on up to level-25 missions, which may be able to bring back some legendary gear you can equip to Emerald Moon, and otherwise money you could use. Also, if you have any gear you don't care to use in your Equipment tab, that can be sold and get you some money as well.
