DappleMist padded slowly towards ShadowClan's Elder's den. She curled up and in a hunched U shape and a wheezing sigh shook her brown body. A small kit bounced in and lay beside her, glittering eyes and expectant paws reminded DappleMist that the kit was patiently waiting for her the speak. And so she opened her mouth and quietly began to whisper of an adventure and a horror.


DappleMist bounded out of camp energetically. She splashed into the river and swam across the icy waters ad leaped gracefully onto the rocky shoreline. She stumbled but sure-footed pads kept her on her way to FourTrees. Her first gathering as a fresh, RiverClan warrior made her long, muscular legs dig into the earth and send her sprinting ahead of her clanmates and sprawling into the familiar gathering place. Panting she scrambled to her feet only to be face with a horrific scene.
A murder.
