I've been trying to breed pets with carried traits in hopes of their offspring getting it, but so far it doesn't work. Plus, usually the visible traits are passed down instead. Really annoying!
Is there something wrong?

Are your pets genetically tested? They need to be tested in order for you to see carried traits.
If you don't have a testing kit, there are players who offer free testing services in the breeding forum.
Carried traits only have 50% chance of being passed down, so it could also be that you're unlucky. But if you bred a few times, and nothing has been passed down, maybe you can link the pets, so we can see which pets are having the problem?
