Hello! There is an unofficial Skype group dedicated to Sylestia. This Skype group was started a long while back and has become a catch-all for Sylestia users of varying backgrounds, ages and time-zones who chat on a daily or regular basis while keeping informed of all things Sylestia!
Don't fret! We do not do video or call type chats, it's all text-based, instant messenger style. Due to this being an offsite fan-made chat group, we would like to caution that you may encounter language and or topics that would be deemed mature or at a PG-13 level.
We do ask that if you have found us and are new to Sylestia that you please get settled onto the site and get to know your fellow players before requesting an invitation.
We do have a website where within you can find the rules (the same that are posted within this thread) and a section where those within the Skype chat can have their Sylestia threads, upcoming birthdays, a countdown to upcoming Sylestia events, etc. Check it out and use it to your advantage! We only have a few simple rules for the Skype Chat.
1) Please be respectful of everyone. | This includes offensive name calling or disrespect towards other races, ways of life, gender, background, so on.
2) No spamming. | This goes without saying.
3) No drama. | Since it is an unofficial Skype chat, things said on Skype should be dealt with within Skype and not brought on site. Drama is not tolerated and drama between two people in the group should be taken to private areas and kept between those parties involved.
4) Only staff (ie: Admin and Mods) are to add users to the Skype group.
5) Be respectful towards Admin and Mods. | Admins and Mods are not set in place to control the conversation, they are simply there should a problem arise.

Krin, thank you for letting us remake this! We were hoping this was the right spot for it and assuming that if not you'd be able to move it to the right section. We are officially ready for a sticky.

I went ahead and moved it here since we now have this section and it's aimed for Groups. So I think it will fit better and will be more what people are looking for when they come to this Forum. =)

Hey, may I recommend swapping Skype for Discord if this group is currently active? It's free too, and you could make a server there! You don't even need the program installed to join, since it works in a browser as well. And you can set proper admin and mod roles :)

I recommend Discord as it's much more personalized and you can have a set server for Sylestia~ :) Also, Skype has become unreliable and unstable. My skype got hacked a couple months back and won't even touch skype now.

Hello! I see you've joined Sylestia recently. We generally ask for people to be on the site for at least 2 weeks before we send an invitation. I hope you don't mind.
