Welcome to Team Skull, your job as a grunt is to inconvenience and disrupt the island trial, you can do this by stealing Pokemon (not totems though, they're way too strong) attacking the trainers, and doing other acts of mischief to disrupt the trialgoers.

Sylver approached a trialgoer, from behind, he was a young boy, about 12. "Hey kid" she sneered "Where do you and that little bird think you're going" she barked at him, trying to keep him distracted while Zorua set up the prank at Wela Volcano Park, Zorua was going to get a herd of Pokemon angry enough to chase her, who was disguised as the trainer's Rowlet. Before the kid could respond, her Rowlet-disguised-Zorua charged into the trainer, knocking both birds to the ground. Zorua jumped into the running grunt's bag as she ran away, transforming into her normal form, sticking her tongue out at the trainer, who was struggling against the fire type hoard.
