hi guys :) I'm new here, and I'm having a had time finding my way around and keeping track of stuff, etc. I'm low on gold, and don't have many clothes XD i would like some tips and advice from older players, if that would be ok :)

Want a pet? I have lots of beautiful ones in my hatchery, I can lower the price for you if ya want :) I'm in school right now and the bell is gonna ring in just a few mins, but I might be able to lower the prices later. Also to ping me back, look at the bottom right corner of my reply, and there is a blue thingy. Click that and it will get you a reply that will ping me!

wow you have a lot of pets XD I'm not in need of any right now though :) i have lots. and thank you so so much for teaching me to ping

Honestly I'm impressed, I didn't get my first real avatar item untill I was like... level 20.

As a little piece of advice, a good way to make a little extra gold is to breed together some of your pets that have a good number of visible traits and sell them to other players. But be careful not to breed too many or else the ones that mature will either need to be released or crowd up your stables and drive up your food expenses.
If you want to know if any of your pets have hidden traits you can test breed them in the breeder and see if anything un expected pops up. I also recommend checking a pets lineage before buying them.
If you really want to have your pets genetic tested there are some people who will do that for you for free (including me)

For Avatar Items, I like doing fests to get my own Items, other than that check the broker and save up for what you want.
That will help with gold as well^-^

A good way to earn gold is to get five pets and put all of their level ups/proficiencies in on catagory (i.e. health, then strength, then intelligence, so on)
then you can set them on missions. the missions always recommend for a pet that is high in certain pet stats. match the mission pet with the stats and it works really well.
