I saved enough scales to buy the Lesser Pet Dye and I just wanted to know if you can use it to change eye color and I was wondering if it is just a limited range of colors you can use versus the full range given when you first generate a pet?

You can definitely use the full range of colors like when generating. Also, lesser pet dyes can cost a bit of gold and that's good if you are running low, like me :p. You can change the color of any gene, mutation, and color. The colors might not be the most accurate, but the greater pet dye costs more and is more accurate.
