Right now the website functions with two page layouts, the old one that the website started with (for example the one for the world map) and the new one (the one we see on this page). In the old template there is a function where every time a quest/mission is completed, you gather a new item, there is a new trade, there is a new forum ping, etc, the tab gets highlighted in orange. Personally I think this is a useful feature and think it would be nice if this function would be carried over into the new template. It would provide a reminder for players about things to pay attention to without being too distracting.

I am sorry if this is a suggestion that was mentioned before but I haven't found this topic before. Also I am no expert in design and coding so if it is impossible with the new layout I also apologize. This is just a small detail that I think would be useful.

These sorta were added by adding the notification area of your player window:



They notify you of new Trades, new PMs, new Pings, and new Friend Requests. They were also supposed to notify you of new Items and pets ready to Hatch, but that never was fully implemented.

I think I remember running into a CSS issue with the orange text and that's why I didn't put that in; I can't remember exactly.

I imagine as time goes on I'll make some improvements and/or redesign it into something even more user friendly.
