What are you seeing? Can you take a screenshot of it?

I figured it out everyone - I needed to use Chrome - If it is not part of your newbie guide. Safari and Firefox does not do anything with the battle scenes. Chrome does.

This has been solved by downloading Chrome as an additional Browser. Safari and Firefox does not work. However Chrome does. I am not certain if other members have had similar issues using a Mac, but the problem has been solved and please lock the thread.

Lots of users use Firefox and it should have no problem running Sylestia.

Safari should work as well and I know of a few who use it to play Sylestia, but I don't manually test with that browser.

Edge should also work just fine.

Were your browsers up to date? Did you have addons/plugins/extensions installed that could have been tampering with the pages?

Just weighing in to say I use Firefox and always have. Went and checked one of the old areas and had no problem starting a battle, battling, or completing the battle. I also use Safari on my phone to access Sylestia and have encountered no problems there. So, I think Krin is right and there must be something going on with the OP's browser, either not up to date, or an addon that is conflicting with the site.

Everything us up do date on Firefox - not certain of Safari. I simply could not click on any of the buttons and get any of the dialog to come up on the screen. I never tried Chrome until now, and it seems to be working.

I am in my 50's so this might be part of my learning curve.

My guess would be that you may have an addon or pop up blocker of some sort that's blocking elements on the page.

If you care enough to use Firefox over Chrome, you could try running Firefox without any addons and seeing if it works then. If it does work, then you can add the addons one at a time until it stops working again and then you'll know which addon is breaking the page.

For me, Safari on the Mac worked fine. Edge on my old computer worked well too. Just saying.
