Random. This is a place to post poetry about clocks. Or time. Whatever.

I speak of things quite unrelated,
My hands are arrows, sharp, serrated,
I may be black or may be white,
Im a spherical shadow that scolds you at night,
I answer one question, I answer them all,
I stand in a corner or watch from the wall,
I have no expression; my eyes watch you pace,
I point to the numbers tattooed to my face,
I start to grow dusty; my mind starts to slow,
The world grows yet darker, my fingers drop low,
My numbers are fading; my shield starts to shatter,
For no one could realize just how much clocks matter.

Tick, Tock
Tick, Tock
Down went the clock,
Away went the Time Father,
And a risen came the Time Destroyer,
Lost hope,
Lost time,
Tick,Tock
Time is running out.
Now,
Please don't, you don't have to bow
Down to the mighty hand of
The one conquering Time
Who wonders?
Tick
Tock
Down went the broken clock
Tick
Tock
Don't just stand there please
I beg of you
Help us please don't just stand there....
Fractured by a hair,
Don't leave now....

When I was young I thought life went on
Forever
That no matter what I'd get my chance I'd
Never
Take my final breath nor life would
Drain
From me nor my loved ones-at least not
Again.
No; Never forever again.

For when you are touched by death, it leaves a
Scar
The inky shadow follows wherever you
Are
Your innocence is ripped away with a single
Word
In a trapped cage, your heart's a
Bird
Yes; Your scarred heart's a forlorn bird

Now that I'm grown I know that my days are
Numbered
One day I won't wake from the place last night I
Slumbered
Who knows if it's now or in a hundred
Years
Is my life measured in laughs or
Tears
Oh; Are my years numbered in laughs or tears

Have I made my mark in this spherical
Place?
Will my name be remembered with malice or
Grace?
Will with a circle of light my head be
Crowned?
Or will my legacy all go tumbling
Down?
My crown of grace go tumbling down.

And when someday I am put to the
Test
On if I really have done my
Best
Will I say with a
Smile
I've lived for
Awhile
So why do I need to stay?
Or will I slowly whither away?
Oh; Will I leave with a Smile or slowly whither away?

Oh; will YOU leave with a Smile or slowly whither away?

Me from last year, haven't edited it or anything since then so it's probably really bad.

In "Night Terrors", the lyrics are:

Tick tock goes the clock
And what now shall we play?
Tick tock goes the clock
Now summer's gone away?

Tick tock goes the clock
And what then shall we see?
Tick tock until the day
That thou shalt marry me

Tick tock goes the clock
And all the years they fly
Tick tock and all too soon
You and I must die

Tick tock goes the clock
We laughed at fate and mourned her
Tick tock goes the clock
Even for the Doct...

Tick tock goes the clock
He cradled and he rocked her
Tick tock goes the clock
Even for the Doctor

In "Closing Time", they were this;

Tick tock goes the clock
He cradled and he rocked her
Tick tock goes the clock
'Till river kills the Doctor

In the Prequel to "The Wedding of River Song", they could be heard to sing this;

Tick tock goes the clock
Tick tock goes the clock
Tick tock goes the clock
Doctor, brave and good,
He turned away from violence
When he understood
The falling of the Silence.

In "The Wedding of River Song", they could be heard to sing this;

Tick tock goes the clock
He gave all he could give her
Tick tock goes the clock
Now prison waits for River

Madame Kovarian says this in "Closing Time"

Tick tock goes the clock
And what now shall we play
Tick tock goes the clock now summer's
Gone away

Tick tick goes the clock
And all the years they fly
Tick tock and all too soon your love will
Surely die

The Peg Doll song from Doctor Who, only contains mild spoilers if you understand it in the first place.

And now it's time for one last bow
Like all your other selves
Eleven's hour is over now
The clock is striking twelve's.
