This is probably really obvious but I've just spent 20 minutes going through this forum and the guides forum trying to figure out what 'Tamed' pets are because I've completely forgotten (& I'm tired) so if anyone can let me know I'd be greatful.

Tamed pets are pets that are caught from the wild or bought as eggs/hatchlings from the shops and the only type of pet that can be mutated.

Thank you!! I figured about the captured wild pets but wasn't sure about the eggs/hatchlings (assuming from scale shop?) I was seeing.

Eggs found while exploring, and the egglings and hatchlings purchased from the Scale Shop, Puffadore Pet-shop, and Ny'vene shop.

I'm assuming those last two shops might be part of the world map that I haven't discovered yet (I'm only at the Enigmatic Grotto). Unless I'm really missing something big.

You'll be able to access them once you reach the third region- they're located in Ethernia, the city of Astryl's Vale.
