Hello all~ This is going to be me posting my art from now (2/12/2017) to the end of the year to track my progress. I would love critique if you have any, and I really hope you enjoy my art!

I do practice all sorts of styles, so there will be a lot of firsts for me. Under each picture I'll post the description of my process and the art style I was going for.

First piece (2/12/17): This is fanart of one of my favorite mangas right now, Killing Stalking. I did try to recreate the original style by using dark lines and a two-tone palette. This was my first time drawing in a manga style, and I've never not blended my colors before. I would appreciate feedback on any of it; if you could possible look it up to see what the actual comic art looks like, it would be totally awesome!

Second piece (2/18/17): This is fanart for Steven Universe (a Cartoon Network show for anybody who didn't know). I don't often try actual backgrounds, so any feedback on that is much appreciated. The name of the gem the girl is based off of is Variscite.

First one looks good! c: Curious what your usual art is like. For feedback, did you want it on solely the style? Or also anatomy, lighting, etc.?

Thank you! Unfortunately, I haven't found a style that works for me yet, so my art is usually pretty all over the place.
If it helps, this is mostly the style of the comic:

I would really appreciate any type of feedback! I would more appreciate non-style related feeback even, because I am trying to develop my own style.

The one thing on this picture I know for a fact is off is the face width; I set the jawline too far to the left so his face looks a bit wide...
