I also dont seem to be able to breed pets, none of my pets are adults yet, not even my 1st one who is 23 days old when do they become adults? Also I cant add any of my pets to my party, is there a requirement or something? Please help.

Pets must be adults in order to breed.
And you must expand your party slot to add more pets to your party. You can expand to 2 slots via Esior's Haven.
You can expand to the 3rd slot once you reach the Sanctuary of Saerielle.
