This puff of mine does not have the updated accent color, even though both parents have been updated. It is still getting the accent color from the eye color.
Very sure it was bred after both parents had been updated. It was born on 2nd feb, and the owner of the father told me they updated his colors on 31st jan. And I updated the mother's color (and all my tagged puffs) around that same time. All my puffs were definitely updated by 1st feb.
Bred the parents again, to see if the problem repeats. https://www.sylestia.com/view/pets/?petid=2911934

I don't believe there's anything I can look at to see when a pet was Re-Gen'd so I can't tell you when those colors were actually changed.
The only real possible answer is that the pet was bred prior to one, or both, having their AC changed. It'd be impossible for the pets to display certain colors but the offspring use something else since that just isn't how the system works.
I'd bet pretty much 100% that the newly bred pet will have the 'updated' AC. If not, please let me know.

Okay. Then it must be a bug.
I'll take a look.

Hm. Not sure why this is quite happening.
I tried a change.
Can you breed a new pet and link me it and I'll see if it's fixed?

Okay... that one didn't work either.
However, I think I figured out the issue. It looks like the update I made to the breeding generator didn't sync properly and so it was still using the original, pre-AC code.
I put in a fail safe for any mishaps where, when a pet is created, if there is no AC, it just sets it to their EC just so no pets are left with an AC value of "0". So that's why they kept ending up with their EC copied.
I think it's fixed now though. I tested it with a breeding of my own and the offspring had a unique AC.

Did you try with updated tagged puffs? Cause I realised I breed some other puffs, but those were regens that I updated to the new themed colors, and those were ok. It seemed like the babies from updated tagged puffs aren't getting the AC.

Hm..
I did not. I just did two random pets.
That would be really strange if it was just affecting Themed Pets. I can't think of anything off the top of my head that would cause that.

Maybe somehow it's not detecting the updated colors when breeding?
I bred two tagged updated cream truffles together. They're supposed to have different colors for mutation 2 and 3 as compared to the non-updated version. The updated mutation colors are pink, whereas the previous ones were a dark brown. So you can check if the other colors are passing down, or it's just an AC problem. Or if it's just a problem with that particular pair...
