Sorry, I didn't explain it well at all... and I still can't! It looks like everyone is a little confused so making a design for any of those Puff pairs with their current traits is fine. Showing the Valentine Lace offspring too would be a super big help for me to not have to go to the generator to check, but it's not necessary! I think I will edit my original post to (hopefully) make it a bit more clear.

All of the Puffs you put up in the Hidden Beauty section have a vis trait. Should that be factored into the generating, or are they ignorable?

Yes, those visible traits should be kept when designing the Puffs. Restricted traits (like Valentine Lace) are retained after regeneration, which means that carried restricted traits (and the dominant visible in that slot) are retained too. All of those Puffs I posted must be regenerated with the visible G3 trait that they already have.
I hope that makes sense, I'm not great at explaining it!

I freely admit, this isn't my best design in the world.
