"Gotta go to Potions! Sorry, Professor McGonnagal!" Kaladinas cried, bumping into the Gryffindor head of house.

Skyler was in her free period and as she had expected it would not be relaxing. Though the Courtyard was quite peaceful nonverbal spell casting was less so. Thankfully McGonnagal had alowed her to take Advanced Transfiguration in place of this years Transfiguration class last year. She sighed and glanced beyond the west wing to the Dark forest. A run sounded like a good way to refresh herself right now, but until she is registered transfiguring herself is not an option.

Kaladinas wasn't looking where she was going and crashed into Skyler, a sixth year Hufflepuff student.
"Ouch! Watch where you're going!" she said angrily.

Skyler was reading a line on casting nonverbal charms when the 7th year bumped into her causing her to drop her Potions book.

The remark Only made Sky want to transfigure herself more, though she knew that if she did that the Ministry of Magic would lose their socks, Not to mention McGonnagal would be very displeased with her drastic response. So instead she smiled " Of Course.." she said as if she had been asked to help someone in need. With that she picked up her Potions book and began to walk to her Defense Against the Dark Arts class.

Kaladinas frowned at her and stalked off.
"Mudbloods." she muttered under her breath.

From a distance, a sixth year named Alain Lestrange watched the squabble. Then the bell rang, he had to get to his Defense Against the Dark Arts class! He jumped out of the tree and sprinted off. When he arrived, Professor Quirrel was about to close the door.
"Sorry I'm late Professor." he said.
"A-Again? Well, y-you know that means I w-will take one p-point from S-Slytherin." the Professor said.
Alain nodded solemnly and walked into the classroom, catching a disgusting odor as he walked behind Quirrel's turban. He sat down in a seat next to the Hufflepuff girl.

Skyler had only started to open her book when the boy from Slytherin had arrived sitting next to her. She had seen him about the halls quite a bit recently, and like many things he sparked her curiosity. Though that soon faded when Qurriel mentioned something about a Patronus Charm.

Professor Quirrel explained the use of the Patronus Charm, before setting them up in pairs.
"Expecto Patronum!" Alain cried. A wispy fox shot out of his wand and pranced round the room.

Sky watched the delicate silvery fox prance about the room. She was unsure what she should do as a wizards patronus will take the form of their animagus transfiguration If they have one. However she couldn't let it hold her back she would be registered soon enough that it wouldn't matter. She took a deep breath and spoke clearly " Expecto..Patronum" At first there was only a wispy silver cloud, but it soon took the form of a large wolf like dog that sat and stared at Sky as if it was trying to understand her, as she lowered her wand it whisked away. She stood silently for a moment, she thought It was strange that her patronus did not act like the others.

Victoria walked too her next class, "this is going too be the best year ever!" She thought in her head. She hoped she could answer the riddle too the Ravenclaw dorm. Victoria did not like the idea of being stuck out side of the dormitory all night.
