Hey, my father is having severe leg pain because of varicose vein. He finds it very difficult to walk and is in bed almost all day. The vein is very big and the condition is a little complicated. We are planning to visit a vein clinic in Vaughan next week. We have heard that sclerotherapy is effective in treating varicose vein. Is it possible to remove big veins using this treatment? Won't it harm the body when the veins are removed? I am confused. Please give some genuine replies and suggestions. Thanks in advance.

i am not a specialist but if it's not from the main vein (there is one by leg) it should be ok, even if they are preaty usefull the big vein are usualy used for bring back the blood to the little ones tho those small vein are able to heal preaty fast and / or change a part of their patern for keeping the work done. If it's not one of the main vein it should be ok, i don't think that any doctor would remove the main vein anyway or if they do they will replace it somhow.
