Hey, kind of a newb here, I mean I joined nearly a year ago but I played for a short while then left the game for most of the year, and now I'm back. I've participated in several events and am unable to open my satchels, despite having over 3 rows of empty space in my inventory. Help please?

My guess is that your Equipment section is full.
Switch over to Equipment and clear up some space. =)
