The White Sylesti Exchange!

I don't know if any of you are familiar with a White Elephant Exchange, but as we head into the winter holidays, I am hosting a modified version of the game called The White Sylesti Exchange. This game is going to last from now (11/29) to December 23rd at 12pm Sylestia time so your new Sylestis can go home with you before Christmas! None of the Sylestis involved are just white! :P Feel free to ping your friends to join.

The Rules!

You must read all the rules post to play or you will be lost!

The Game Set Up:

- It costs 750 gold to join the game but this fee will be paid at Sylesti pickup. You may enter multiple times but you may not enter multiple times at once. This will be further explained under game progression.
- Upon joining you will be able to pick a present or unwrapped sylesti from the pile below and your name will then appear on a roster. The order of the roster is reflective of the order in which people joined.
- A Sylesti will be linked to your present and revealed upon being picked.
- The game will officially start once 4 players have picked their gift.

Progression Through The Game:

- We will cycle through the roster in order.
- When it's your turn, you have the option to either pick another gift or unwrapped sylesti from the pile or choose to steal a Sylesti from another player! How to set up these posts is further explained in the Posting section.
- When the game closes, whichever sylesti is in your possession at the end of the game is now yours!
- However, once a Sylesti has been stolen 3 times, it's officially out - this means the person who stole it for the third time gets to take it home. (If the player wishes to join again after this occurs they may.) However, the pet given to the player in exchange for the stolen pet is simply traded and doesn't get an additional steal.

For Example: Player A has a Sylesti that has been stolen once. Player A steals a Sylesti from player B that has already been stolen twice. The Sylesti that belonged to Player B has now been stolen 3 times and will go home with Player A. Player B receives Player A's Sylesti, but the Sylesti has still only been stolen once because it wasn't the pet the steal was initiated on.

Posting:

- Initial Post: State you're joining, include the number corresponding the present you'd like to open, and ping me.
- Steal Post: State you're stealing, include the number and the picture corresponding to the pet and the name of player who currently has it, ping me, ping the person you're stealing from, and ping the person on the roster below you. If you are last on the roster, ping the first person again.
- Pile Exchange Post: State you're exchanging, include the number corresponding to the pet or present from the pile you'd like to exchange for, ping me, and ping the person on the roster below you. If you are the last person on the roster, ping the first person again.

Your pings are imperative when it comes to making this game run smoothly! I suggest copying the layout template above for what kind of post you wish to make and removing it from your post upon completion. Examples are provided in the next post to provide more clarity.

Disclaimer: I will try to keep the roster as updated at possible with current information to provide ease with the process. As I edit the information I will provide a quick link to the post where the information was last updated that way if people have since posted, you know where it was left off as well as what information you need to read prior to your post!
