You can also go to the game forum. That's where I made my first friend, from participating in games. If you are into roleplaying, you can join the roleplaying forums. I know players find friends there as well.


This is just FYI for now: In the 3rd region and festival zone, there is a regional chat as well. Since you're new, you'll probably haven't unlocked the storyline until the 3rd region, but you should be able to have access to the festival zone by going to explore > seasonal festival > fall festival zone. The regional chat is at the bottom left of the explore screen. You probably shouldn't battle there yet though, since the enemies are a min of level 10, and will scale to your level thereafter. So they're generally harder to defeat, especially the bosses.
