Family: She can't talk.
Friends: She can't talk.
Magic (If you are a witch): Shifting between fox and owl forms. Gaining owl form was a side effect of the witch dying.
Other: A witch turned her into a fox in revenge for being caught summoning the dead and then reporting him.
