So my girl really got into this game. I know she doesnt go on the forums much and likes the sabertooth cats. I want to get her something awesome in game but am not sure where to begin. How would I go about doing so?

Go to advanced search, and search for pets. Put "vulnyx" in the species field, and then select "yes" in the sale field.

Put in any traits she likes or other specifications. The search looks overwhelming but if you just read what all the options are it's self-explanatory.

Is gold buyable or just dismonds? If so is there a way to convert Diamonds to Gold?

You can buy diamonds with real money and sell them on the currency exchange under "Trades" in the menu at the top of the screen. Diamonds are usually 2500 gold each, but check other people's offers before putting yours up for sale.
