"Hello friends, and welcome to Rixva's Costume party!"
The fall festival is quickly approaching, and as we all know, that means it's time to break out your best costumes! In this thread, we'll have some fun and games to celebrate the occasion - and of course, there will be prizes to win!
So come on in, grab a spot, and check out these contests I'm hosting in the spirit of the season!
Rules & Information!
o -Start date: 10/22/16
o -Submissions due: 10/31/16 @ 11:59 PM
o -Judging period: 11/1/16 - 11/5/16
o -Everyone will have a say in who wins! I will ping all participants with a link to a poll, where everyone can cast their vote to decide on a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winner for all contests!
o -You may create one entry for each contest - so 3 designs total! Don't forget to label them!
o -All of these contests involve using the Wardrobe to create an avatar. You do NOT have to own the items you use in your designs.
o -While you don't have to write anything to go with your entries, you're welcome to include a short description.
o -Be creative! Originality is what makes the world interesting!
o - You don't have to ping me to enter, but please ping or PM me with any questions!

Become a MONSTER!
The object of this contest is to design an avatar based on a monster! Be it ghost, vampire, werewolf - any creature that falls in the categories of "spooky," "beastly," "weird" or any number of descriptors can qualify! Feel free to be imaginative!
Reminder:
You don't have to own the items you use in your design!
You don't have to write a description, but please at least name the monster your design is based on!
Example Entry: Yuki Onna
This monster is based on a Japanese legend of a ghostly pale woman who appears to those unfortunate travelers who find themselves lost in the snow.

Dress up like your favorite Sylesti!
In this contest, you'll need a pet to serve as your inspiration! Pick a sylesti from your stables, and make an avatar to match them! Try to pick colors and items that resemble your pet's genes and mutations. Maybe you want to reference their battle proficiencies! If you have personalities for your pets, feel free to incorporate them!
Reminders:
You don't have to own the items you use in your design!
Please include an image of your pet alongside your avatar design so we can see the resemblance!
No description is required, but consider writing a little about the reasons you chose the items you did!
Example Entry:
This avatar is designed based on my puffadore Seonaid! I chose to include lots of flowers to reference her pretty Jeweled Flower mutations. The pigtails resemble the puffadore's long tendrils, and Robes of the Peach is just something I think Seonaid would wear if she could, haha!

Item challenge!
This game is a bit different than the others. Based on the first letter of your username, you'll be assigned a random Held item - the goal is to incorporate this item into a Fall-themed avatar! This theme is purposefully open-ended, so feel free to think outside the box a little!
*I used a random number generator to decide the held items, in case you were wondering ^-^
See the list below to find out your assigned item, then build a Fall-themed outfit around it!
P-T: Spring Butterfly (Sunny Blossoms)

Reminder:
You don't have to own the items you use in your design!
The held item is determined for you, but you may use any Head, Outfit, Wing, and/or Back item you like.
Please include a short description of why your design fits into the Fall theme!
Example Entry: Rixva: R = Spring Butterfly (Sunny Blossoms)
I went with a Scarecrow for my entry. This one is particularly adept at protecting her crops from migrating butterflies!

The Avatar Monster Contest for me :D
Hagsfiend A horrific, beastly force from the world of Ga'Hoole,(Guardians of Ga'Hoole book series) holding both features of crow and owl. They hold Natchmagen; or which we know as dark magic, in their feathers, and were the most foulest creatures of the world.

Contest One
This is based off of a Vampire
Contest Two
I chose the Avi Items I chose because the horns look almost identical to the ones on the ryo. The outfit reminded me of like ghostly wraps which look kind of like the tempest armor on the ryo and I choose the back ground because of the light blue mist floating around the ryo. (My fav part is the eyes on the avi I think it is really cool)
Contest Three
Sense the held was a Snow Swan Staff I just went with this idea of a Swan. I based all the colors off of the staff to make the outfit! OwO
