I saw on a post somewhere that had said something about being able to get essences from nurturing Sylesties. Is it true? Also, if it is, can you tell me if it's just hatchlings or egglings, or both? Is it very rare? Please help!

It's true, but it's rare. When you correctly nurture an egg or hatchling, there is a very rare chance that the pet will drop either a regular or enhanced essence of that's pet species. If you're trying to get a specific essence, the best way would be to use the advanced search to look for hatchlings and egglings of that species. It's a slower method over-all, but it's great if you don't want any other kind of essence.
