Hello, Sylestians!!!
This beautiful pet recently became an adolescent (her name's Watermelon):


And before, when she was a hatchling, my mom was just sitting there adoring her.
Well, I showed Watermelon to her as an adolescent and she told me this, and I quote:

Who's that? It looks like a weirdo chicken.



O_O Really, mom? That's Watermelon, all grown up! And you hurt her feelings XD
Has anyone else showed their pets to their parents?

(Additional) I showed my mom all the pets in my stable, and she said she liked Lilypad the most:
