Apologies for this, please don't assume we put any less effort into your gene.
The way the system works does effect the images though it's not always a predictable result. In this case, it muddled the markings.
It's not intentional but an unforeseen mistake. I'll be going back to correct the gene and make it more obvious so it won't be an issue, but here was the original for comparison to what came out:

We will be changing image builders sometime in the future to hopefully fix the issues with the current one.

However, it's not a simple task and we will probably not get to it until the new exploration is available.

Would it be possible though to allow for the entire tail to be a single color though,
if its not too much trouble?

These are all so awesome! I think the Tiger Bulbori is my favorite, and some of the Ny'vene ones are just stunning.

Even though I'm not doing a ton of essence-generating it is still so cool to me that these genes and mutations are available. I've loved playing around with the preview generator and the fact that there's more and more things to choose from is pretty darn exciting
