Entrance

You find yourself within a spacious cavern lit by glowing purple runes that cover the walls and ceiling. The crystalline stalactites reflect the purple light at odd angles, creating a dazzling effect in the air. You can see various portals in the center of the room. There is a silent figure standing just behind the portals, and from this distance, you cannot tell hir species.

"Hello?" You call out, the cavern seems to magnify the power of your voice. The runes glow brighter as the sound-waves touch them. The creature turns to face you, and beckons you over. As you near hir, you notice that shi is slightly hunched and leans heavily on hir staff.



The creature speaks softly.

"My sylesties have stories to share, poetry to orate, knowledge to teach and gossip to chatter about. This peaceful sanctuary is their thinking space, and you may stay and listen for as long as you like. Feel free to ask questions of any of my sylesties, or provide them with critique of their oration style. I hope you enjoy some of the things they have to say."

The creature vanishes through one of the portals, closing it behind hir and leaving you to your thoughts.

The Timelost

Timelost Necromancer speaks.

We journeyed down through a crack in the land to meet with a great demon below. Its strength was so, that it could rip the world asunder, and its agony inspired our pity, for loneliness had made the creature mad. So, down we went to lay it to rest, and we made the demon sleep at the cost of our minds. We took its power for our own, and we guard the body in case it wakes again.

Oh my! I was just a day out of the egg, when I saw the most wondrous sight! A lovely lunemara flew by me and looked at me! He was just like me, except he was bright purple with fairy wings! *swoons* Oh, I was so scared, I crawled right back into the egg and hid until he flew away!
