As a weary adventurer, the sun is setting as you trudge through the murky swamp, your clothes damp and sticking to you, making you wish for a dry and comfortable place to stay the night...

You were about to give up and collapse when you see the faint glow of firelight somewhere ahead of you through the fog. With a new spurt of energy, you stumble towards the light.

You emerge into a small clearing within the swamp with an island in it. On the island, is a welcoming little hut. You haul yourself out of the water and onto the island, lumbering towards the hut and knocking on the door.

The door swings open, but nothing is in front of you. You hear a cheerful little voice at you feet, and as you look down, you see a cheerful little pastel zolnixi with bright hoops around her legs, neck, and tail, and a pair of brightly colored wings looking up at you, and you can make out two other zolnixis farther inside the little hut.


Crecelia: Oh, hello dear! You look absolutely exhausted! Come inside, take a look around! *Crecelia runs outside and pushes you into the hut*
Now, you can see the other two zolnixis clearly. One is a black and red male with magestic striped wings, and the other one is a lime and yellow female with dragon horns and fashionable wings.
Bathorn: Who's this, Cercelia? Another traveller? Again?
Visteka: Aww, come on, Bathorn. This traveller does look like they need some rest... Why be so hostile? *Visteka comes up to you and sniffs you* This one's been trudging through the swamp for, like, days!
Crecelia: Anyways, dear, *Pushes you further inside the hut* you look like you could do with a friendly sylesti!
Bathorn: *Grunts* Crecelia has a collection of boxes... I've been trying to tell her to throw them away for ages, but she won't listen.
Visteka: So, why don't you come in and take a look at our boxes? You really shouldn't be travelling through dangerous swamps like this without a friend sylesti. *Visketa leads you into a room full of shelves. There are boxes of all sorts of colors and shapes on each shelf*
Crecelia: Well, dear, take your pick!


THE BOXES
Each box can contain 1-2 sylesties, of any gender

Box 1: This box is elegantly shaped, a deep midnight blue with a shine, tied with a muddy green ribbon that ends on top of the box with a giant bow. You can hear water sloshing around inside. [1750 gold]

Box 2: This box is a tall, skinny box of muddy green, rough scales. The box is shaking, as if something interesting is going on inside. [1250 gold]

Box 3: This box a wide and short box, striped magenta and dark pink, with bright blue and orange polka dots. You can hear the sound of brushing fur inside. [1750 gold]

Box 4: This box is a perfect cube, made of furry blue material with streaks of dull lavender. The top is slightly open, and you can see a perfectly round golden eye staring out at you. [1250 gold]

Box 5: This box is an elegantly shaped cylinder, stark white. A thick green ribbon is tied around it and comes to a giant bow at the side. [1500 gold]

Box 6: This box is cream and pink, and has an abnormal shape. It is covered in flowery designs, and you can sense a fabled aura coming from it. [6000 gold]

Box 7: This box is a perfect cube, bright pink. You can hear knocking sounds from inside. [1250 gold]

Box 8: This box is a cylinder, though not as tall as box 5. It is a bright peach color with scales of brown. You can hear snorting from inside. [1500 gold]

Box 9: This box is an oval shaped cylinder, with yellow and brown swirls. It is covered in leaves, and inside you can hear snuffling noises. [7000 gold]

Box 10: This box generally looks very normal shaped. It is grey and pink, with talismans wrapped around it. You can hear faint fluttering from inside. [7000 gold]

Sorry they're not that awesome, but here ya go!

Visteka looks at Bathorn warily and takes a step back. Crecilia takes the box from the shelf and places it before you, before backing away also. As you bend to open the box, the lid springs open and two sylesties jump out!

As Crecelia pushes the box towards you, you are overcome with the very strong smell of flowers. As soon as Crecelia stops pushing the box, the box bursts open and an egg tumbles out!

The box is heavy, as it takes both Crecelia and Visteka to push it towards you, while Bathorn is mumbling something about too heavy boxes. With a huff, Crecelia and Visteka stop the box in front of you, untie the bow, and lift the lid off. You step forwards to see what's inside and you see a sylesti!

As Crecelia steps forwards to bring the box out, the box topples over by itself and Crecelia yelps, jumping back just in time not to be squashed by the box. The loose lid falls off, and you see a sylesti staring at you!
