~Before reading on. I know this is already possible with some of the changed pets. But with some it is not. Some changed pets keep the same traits they had before the change, and the same collors withoud option to change. But sometimes the way the collor is used or the way the trait looks changes to a point you don't like it anymore. This post is for those pets.~

Every so often a specie finds itself being updated in artwork. I understand why this is done. If the end result by such a revamp is an improvement depends on who you ask. Some love the old versions better then the new, some love new versions more then the old.

But regardless if people love the old or the new better, the original designs always change when a revamp happens. Traits your pet has look different now, the collors don't look the same either. Sometimes this creates very pretty pets, sometimes it turns much beloved pets and projects into freakshows.

To the people who don't like or even hate how the revamp changed their pets I believe it should be possible for them to change the collours of the pets or be able to regenerate the pets. If not both then at least one of these options. Even if regenerating is only with old traits and not newer ones.

People could have spend real money on diamonds to buy essence to have made these pets and now find their money waisted, or people could have spend a lot of time, efford and gold on breading projects and now find their effords waisted.

It happend with a few revamps now, that favorite pets or whole projects got ruined because the new updates made the collors look weird, or the changed look of the trait messes with the overal look in a way it didn't before. (Example: You had something from gene 2 that coverd only a small portion of your sylesties body, and it was black, but because of the change that gene 2 trait now covers almost all of your sylestie and the black which was subtle before is now overpowering.)

The pets that are able to be recollored or regenerated now, are usualy pets who's traits have moved to another slot which makes the combination you had before no longer possible. But it doesn't offer it to pets who's traits remained exactly the same slot wise even though the overall look of those traits changed a lot as well.

And for some people the way the traits changed ruin an overall look they where fond of before. Thats why I think the option should be available for all pets of a revamped species.

No it's not. Not for all pets that are changed. Some provide the option yes, but some don't.

Oh, yeah sadly this is true. Some pets don't qualify for regents but Krinadon and Faiona make a living from users buying things from this site so people getting dyes and disrupters for them is something they really need. Krin said if it wasn't healthy for the site to leave them as they are, he would make all of them regen. If you want though I can get you a regen pet? It kinda sounds like you might not have any and I have plenty to share :)
