Welllllllll...I'm kinda bored right now so I figured an RP would be pretty fun. I like kinda weird stuff though...so this is an open world. Consider it the weirdest crossover pocket dimension ever, or something. Just choose whatwver character from where/whenever and plop it in! I'll be piloting most of the NPC's but feel free to commandeer a few, you can have up to three PC's, and you can't kill other PC's. Bur feel free to knock off the NPC dullards if your characters want to, I don't mind. And let's please keep it PG here; shipping is fine but let's keep the details off screen if that's where you're going. Heh.
And onto the setting...

EDIT: You can control the servants, I meant to write that before.

------
You have a castle; it is big, with many bedrooms, an armory, a large kitchen and big banquet hall. There is a treasure vault near the dungeons, with a very specific code and which requires a certain amount of experience to crack open. It seems mostly empty, but for a small staff--a chef and six servants, one personal servant for each person, fifteen cleaners and one armorer. There can regularly be heard dogs barking, but though the castle has a burned husk of a dog kennel outside, there are no dogs. The castle is not technically owned by anything or anyone, nor lived in, but that is up to your interpretation, I guess. The castle has about seven acres of forest surrounding it in every drection, before the land drops away into sheer cliffs overhanging a roiling, furious-looking ocean. There is no escape even for flyig or teleporting players, though, because there is a barrier, constructed by the mysterious Master (happily controlled by Yours Truly) that really, truly, is a jerk. The characters awake there in strange rooms with their personal servants, not knowing how they got there, or why. They can all understand each other, though some characters may not have spoken the same language in real life (ex; a cat and a dragon-person). Each character has a vaguely human shape when they wake up, though if they are a shapeshifter that is subject to change. They have ultimate freedom of motion, basically, though certain NPCs will stop characters from entering the throne room or dungeons unless convinced otherwise.

(TL;DR You can't leave and you might die if you go to the wrong place)

Making a character form...hope that's alright....

Name: Marcurio Thrush
Age: 36 years
Gender: male
Appearance (description or pic):
Personality: Marcurio is a bit stuck up at times and takes pride in what he knows as far as magic. He can be a bit sassy at times and even a bit of a butt at others, though he is nice guy to be around.
Strengths: he is really good at casting naive spells that deal with fire and lightning, though it's not a good idea to stand back when he does.
Weaknesses: his aim is off and he tends to get mad about that. He is not much of a fighter outside of magics and he can't carry much
Family: none
Backstory: he started off in a small town to a small family. After his mother and father were killed the village elder took him in and taught him the basics of magic. Now he simply wishes to know how they became of this place.
Occupation (if you have one): Mage
Servant- open

Know as: The Begger Lady, though he really name is Ase
Gender: female
Age: 28 years
Species: khajiit, or cat humanoid
Personality: she is very out going and loves a thrill. Ase likes to see herself getting her way or there will be a price to pay. Although a warrior she can be very fun loving and childish.
Appearance: (This is my own pic as to where Marcurio's is not.) her fur is a dark brown with white splotches all over. She isn't very tall being only about 5'1" and is light on her feet. She wears a lot of rings and necklaces, all jewelry for that matter.
Strengths: Ase is really not good at anything though she is a well rounded character and is good at everything equally. She is a very nice girl that is always looking for a way to help.
Weaknesses: Ase is not really good at much though she tries to. She is determined and strong with weapons and magic.
Weapon of Choice: Orkish war ax with soul snar enchantment
Backstory: she was born to two human parents her mother having had an affair that her father didn't find out about until the birth of the child. After killing her mother her father dumped her in the woods where a mother Lynx took her in and raised her for her own until she was old enough to go off on her own. She wishes now to start a new life and have a family
Occupation: Battle Mage
Servant- housecarl Lydia (she is treated more like a friend)

Character profile: Tazryx "Taz" Sabrae
Gender: Male
Age: 17-18ish, who even knows? Not him!
Job: former perimiter scout and forester, captive(...yup...)
Species/Powers: Dragon, shape-shifts from reptilian to humanoid

Taz woke up with a jolt, listening to the...strange silence?

What?

He was in a dungeon. Shouldn't there be, like, screaming or something?

He opened his eyes with a sigh, certain that he wouldn't find much to look at. He was, well, kind of right.

But not as he expected.

Instead of a dingy metal and stone ceiling and walls arching around him, there was a strange...fuzzy whiteness? What the h*ll was this?!

He shifted uncomfortably and the white thing--which actually happened to be a blanket, what do you know?--fell just off of his eyes.

THERE WAS A GIRL STANDING THERE!!!

It wasn't Nadya, first of all; this girl didn't have her piercing green eyes or freckles, although her brown hair was just as fluffy.

Taz squeaked. "Who--?"

"Oh, uhm. I, uhhhh. G'mornin', sir, I was jus' wonderin when ye'd wake up, sir, if ye'd follow me I got yer breakfast in the hall with the Master? Ye'd better meet them--I mean the other guests, sir, that's what the Master wants ya to do? I um." The girl started turning gradually into a tomato as she glanced at some smudged writing on her hand. "The master wants me to tell ya that 'I'm at yer commend in every matter or need that ye have use for a servant or fried,' sir?"

That was...

Actually, he should have expected that. Humans did have rather strange expectations of his kind sometimes.

"I mean, sir, please don' fry me up, I won't taste no good at all, sir, but I dunno what Master meant, sir, I mean, um...Uh...I ain't the best reader, if ya get my drift. Sir."

"Uh. Okay, um. What's your name?" Taz asked.

"Ya can call me Annie," the servant replied. Still blushing red as a strawberry, she ducked away and returned with a stack of clothes. "I'm, uh, this is my first assignment, sir, so please excuse any mistakes I makes."

Taz was completely out of his element. "Y-yeah. I can do that," he said. Hopefully he didn't sound horrifically confused.

He sat up--apparently he had been lying in a bed, it had been far too long since last time he'd done that--and jumped off the bed. No chains. This wasn't some weird new thing his captors were planning.

...maybe.

He strode to the...whatever you call a fancy midieval version of an armoire, and yanked out a tunic. At least he thought it was a tunic. Whatever. It was green, and that was nice. Extracting the rest of the clothing--what, was he supposed to list all of it? Nah!--he hurriedly dressed.

"Uhh...Annie, um, I have to go meet your boss for breakfast?"

"My what, now?" Annie asked, before adding a clearly forgotten, "Sir?"

"Your boss."

"My 'boss.'" Annie looked at him. "What is a boss, sir?"

"You really--forget it. The person you work for, the one who pays you, and so on."

"Oh! You mean the Master, sir, but the Master ain't the one who hired me, sir. Um. Just, uh, follow me this way," Annie opened the door and stepped lightly through, waiting for Taz to follow. In the absence of anything better to do, he followed mutely to a large, ironbound door.

@Hawkeye - your move...

Ase-
Great, just great! You go off on a mission and what happens?! First your kidnapped by bandits then this? Now who was trying to pawn her off as a slave? Orks? Elves? More bandits? Did it even matter? Last time she had managed to fight them all off with just her claws at least this time she would be ready to claw their eyes out. Slowly she sat up throwing the blanket off her. No chains this time? Maybe they knew she was a master lock picker.
"My Thane, your awake!" Lydia's voice broke the silence. Wait...Lydia? What was she doing here? Why would someone kidnap her and Lydia both? Now they were in for a world of hurt, just wait till they show their ugly faces!
"Lydia, where are we?" Ase asked looking around the room. Great they took both of their armor sets...at least they were nice enough to leave a change of clothes. After a small adjustment to the trousers, the khajiit slipped them on, making sure to slip her tail through. She found a tan tunic and put it on as well. Lydia was already dressed in similar garb though her tunic was green. With that out of the way the cat then turned her attention to the door. She gave a hard knock upon it. "Hello? Is anyone there?!" Footsteps could be heard with muffled voices following them.
"What is it my Thane? Bandits?" Lydia asked. "Without weapons I'm afraid that protecting you is a bit harder. But as your housecarl I will give up my life for you."
"Let's hope it doesn't come to that." Ase said pulling off an earring to use as a lock pick. The door groaned as she opened it, exposing the hall beyond. "Stay low alright? We have no idea what could lie ahead." Slowly she snuck from the room following the voices and footsteps to a large door.
"What is that my Thane?"
"I have no idea..." Ase let out a sudden cry as Lydia stepped on her tail, giving away her position to the man and woman at the ironbound door.

"Ah, my ladies!" the man and woman dropped both into low bows. "The Master is very pleased to have your presence in our humble court."

Ase and Lydia exchanged confused glances as the man continues where the woman had left off.

"We are to serve as your personal servants," he clarified, "and to help you navigate the castle. Breakfast will be in the banquet hall, if you would but come with us...?"

( @Hawkeye Your move from here. Feel free to commandeer the servants here.)

Annie all but dragged Taz out of his room. "Sir, ya don't want to be late on yer first day here! The other visitors will think badly of ya! My ma will be infuriated! Just come on, Sir Taz!" On that note, she had none too gently grabbed his hand and guided (read: pulled) Taz through a maze (...if one corner could be called that...) of corridors.

It wasn't long before they passed another open door. Three women and one man stood outside it, and it..sorta looked like one of the people were..but...Tazryx the dragon was VERY confused.

Cat people. DID. NOT. EXIST.

What? Even?! Was?!? Going?!?! On?!?!??????

Steeling himself--she's RIGHT THERE you IDIOT--he slowly approached the group.

"Ya might not want to do that, sir," Annie cautioned him. "That woman--the one with the bluish hair, the other servant--she's the Viper, sir, she ain't a good person and she ain't no friend to me. I, uh," Tazryx suddenly realized the girl was scared, "I think you should be careful, sir. I thibk yer a good person, and I don't want to let ya get hurt on account of me not doin my job right."

"I, i see what you mean," but no way was he not talking to the cat girl, "but I just wanted to ask--that girl is one of the guests too, right? The girl with cat ears?"

"Uhuh.."

"I, ah, still want to talk to her," Taz said obstinately.

After exchanging glances Ase followed the servants. "Guys I think you have this wrong, I don't need any servants. I men's it's nice and all but I don't feel comfortable having servants. Just look at Lydia! She was supposed to be my servants and now we act like sisters! Save for her calling me Thane and stuff." She rambled on to no avail as the servants led them on. "I guess I'll just have to speak to the Master then...." She sighed as they entered into the dinning chamber. "Wow, I've never seen so much food in one spot before! Just look at it all! Lydia they have pie!!! I wonder if it's apple, or even berry!"
"I have no idea my Thane." The nord said glancing around at the people in the room.

Finally some peo....was that a khajiit? Those were not native to here so what was one doing standing on the other side of the room going on about pie? A sweet tooth, not usually the case with a cat like creature. The man sat on a bench near to the door sipping on a cup of ale that he had be given. It was not every day though that you get free ale, so why let it go to waste? Standing the man fixed his robes and approached the table. A few more people filtered into the room as he did causing him to stop and look. A man and a woman, master and servant presumably. They were not worth his time at the moment, he really need to speak with this cat like figure.
